We bought a house!

Tom and I were given the keys to our house yesterday in south Whitemoor, near Nottingham. Few essentials bought so far, in the following order:

• Washing machine because we both had dirty clothes which we needed for the next day.
• Two double beds and mattresses from IKEA.
• Kettle and toaster.
• Bedding because I was previously sleeping in a single.

Some essentials we need to buy very soon:

• A fridge and freezer, or combo,
• Desks,
• Sofa,
• Dining table and chairs,
• TV stand.

There are a few bits I want to paint and still a tonne of stuff which I need to move from my old flat including the very heavy VAXstations and a large (blue IKEA) bag full of my books. Ah, we also need to buy a longer feed pipe for our washing machine because the current one is too short. The washing machine is just hanging out more in the middle of the room to make it reach at the moment. Here are a few photos:
