I'm Dill, the dog.
On Monday last week, our male german shepherd, Gunthy, died. Unfortunately he had tumours in many parts of his body and it all happened very quickly. I think our other german shepherd, Storm, and my parents, felt a bit lonely without him, so they got a new one.
There is a TV show, I think back from the 60s, called The Herbs, which aimed to teach kids about herbs. It was way before my time, but I still watched it as a kid. Each character was named after a herb, including the dog, Dill. Each character also had their own song, which in Dill's case, went something like this:
I'm Dill the dog, I'm a dog called Dill. I'm rather small and furry, and often in a hurry…pant…pant….pant… I'm Dill the dog, I'm a dog called Dill. though my tail I'd love to get, I've never caught it yet….
Anyway, that explains the name. Here are some photos of Dill :)
