Improving my desk situation

My desk was on the verge of cracking in two. It is / was made of cardboard (honeycomb type thing) and the monitor arm doesn't have a huge footprint. Anyway, I decided I also wanted a desk to my right for other things. I ordered the IKEA Karlby worktop, which is intended for kitchens, and cut it in half. This was my first experience of using a circular saw and it went ok, and I didn't cut the floor in half either.

Not too much more to say, I'll just dump a bunch of photos here.

I even bought a couple of plants.
